Ceist:27 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the proposals, if any, he has in relation to the current cost of a television licence.

I have no proposal from RTE at present for a specific increase in the current cost of the television licence, although I am aware that RTE is concerned that the fees have not been increased since 1986.
