The provision of a major new health centre in Bray is on the Eastern Health Board's priority list of capital works. The question of timing and funding this development is being considered in the context of the formation of my Department's medium-term capital programme but I am not in a position to give a precise time table for the project at this stage.
At present health services in Bray are provided from three strategic locations. These are: (1) Strand Road where improvements costing up to £7,000 were carried out; (2) St. Cronan's which consists of two separate modern buildings fitted out as dental suties with modern up-to-date equipment, and (3) Killarney Road which is in good repair. I am keeping the situation under review.
