Ceist:

41 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the proposed extension of the recently completed Old Whitechurch and Mallow Road drainage scheme, the documents for which have been with his Department since early in 1993.

A preliminary report for this scheme is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to existing levels of commitments under the water and sanitiay services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
