207 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education the date of application of all grants applied for to her Department from Galbally national school, County Wexford; the amounts involved; the administrative history; the progress to date; the likely outcome; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
As indicated to the Deputy in my response of 27 October last the payment of outstanding grants to the authorities of Galbally national school is being processed and will be made shortly. Further grant aid has also been sanctioned in respect of additional improvement works at the school. It has not been the practice to disclose details of grant applications from individual school authorities.
