Ceist:131 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if, in respect of the Dublin Transport Initiative, he will give details of any new arrangements in relation to traffic law enforcement that are envisaged.

The final report of the Dublin Transportation Initiative which is nearing completion will contain recommendations on enforcement of road traffic law. However, it would be premature for me to comment further until I have received the report and have had an opportunity to consider it.
