199 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Education the percentage of national lottery funds allocated to youth, sports and recreational projects in the greater Cork area in 1993; the number and amounts involved in each case; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The detailed information requested by the Deputy is not compiled in my Department in a way which would enable it to be easily extracted.
The cost in staff time of providing this information would not be justified having regard to the large volume of more urgent work on hands.
Should the Deputy wish to inquire about a particular case I will arrange to supply the information sought.
