42 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht whether he intends to make any orders or regulation or review any existing orders before February 1994 with particular reference to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The curent order made on 20 January 1993 under section 31 (1) of the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960, expires, unless renewed, on 19 January 1994. I have carefully reviewed the operation of this order and it will be considered by Government shortly. No other orders or regulations are contemplated at present.
