95 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the names of persons currently serving on the Film Appeals Board; when the Board was last appointed; the period for which the Board was appointed; and if she is currently considering appointing people to fill casual vacancies on the Board.
In accordance with the provisions of the Censorship of Films Acts, the Censorship of Films Appeal Board consists of nine members. The following were appointed to the Censorship of Films Appeal Board on 29 May 1992, namely: Mr. John F. Carroll (Chairman), Rev. Cecil Albert Faull, Rev. John Dardis, Mr. Joseph Mulrooney, Ms Mona McGarry, Mr. Eugene Phelan, Mr. Ed. McDonald, Ms Phil Brady and Ms Mary Burke-King. The board's term of office will expire on 28 May 1997. There is no vacancy at present on the board.
