171 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the progress, if any, that has been made to establish the National Centre for Drug Information for doctors and pharmacists; his views on whether Dublin is the most appropriate location for the centre; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Arising from the recommendations of the National Therapeutics Advisory Committee on the need for a national drug information centre, it is my intention to establish such a centre in the near future. My Department is currently in the process of determining the most suitable location for the centre and I will notify the Deputy as soon as a decision is reached.
