Ceist:501 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the current charge for MMDS rental in County Meath; and the charge levied in each of the other nine MMDS franchise areas.
Written Answers. - County Meath MMDS Rental Charges.
The current charge for MMDS rental in County Meath is £137.50 per annum. The franchise in question also covers counties Cavan, Louth and Monaghan.
The charges levied in each of the other franchise areas are set out in the following table. It should be noted that the MMDS service is not yet available in some parts of the franchise areas, and that the Waterford franchise will not be operational until later this year.
