Ceist:

296 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if she has received a report from a secondary school (details supplied) in Dublin 1 regarding serious physical defects and inadequate conditions; and if so, in view of the report and the urgency of the repairs listed, if she is now in a position to give the go ahead for the work to be done.

The application referred to was very recently received in my Department and is currently being examined.

A decision on the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities when all aspects of the application have been fully assessed.
