Ceist:89 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the names of communications or media companies used by him or his Department in 1993; the nature of the services provided; and the cost of the services.

In December 1992 discussions were held with Carr Communications to produce a film video on Ireland's Bilateral Development Aid Programme. An agreement for the production of the video was signed on 28 January, 1993 and a sum of £30,000 was paid to the company in January 1993, in part payment of the agreed costs. A balance of £54,817.20 was paid in October, 1993 on the satisfactory completion of the film.
The Office of the Tánaiste has made no use of communications or media companies in 1993.
