A formal request has been received from the United Nations for an Irish camp command unit to serve with the United Nations peace-keeping force in Cyprus. We have agreed to provide such a unit and 18 personnel are due to be deployed on or about 16 February 1994.
Will the Minister indicate the size of the unit?
It will have a total of 18 personnel.
