63 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Finance the rent paid in respect of all Government offices in Castlebar, County Mayo; the name, location and proprietor of each such office; the further proposals, if any, he has for uptake of office accommodation by the Government in the town; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
It is not the practice to disclose the names of proprietors or the amount of commercial rents payable in respect of individual properties. The total rent paid for office accommodation leased by the Commissioners of Public Works in New Antrim Street and De La Salle Place, Castlebar amounts to some £29,450 per annum.
As of now, the Commissioners have no plans to take additional accommodation in the town.
