Ceist:

97 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Justice when persons (details supplied) who have been working in Ireland as doctors since March 1988, and who applied for naturalisation in June 1993, can expect to receive approval of their application.

An application for a certificate of naturalisation was received only from the first person mentioned by the Deputy. It is expected that a decision on that application will be made in the near future on completion of the usual procedures.
