Ceist:37 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Taoiseach if he will extend the area of the Ballymun and Finglas area partnership to take in the full Dublin North-West constituency, or at least the Whitehall, Santry and Wadelai districts.
Written Answers. - Local Development Programme.
The areas designated to participate in the local development programme were decided by Government following a detailed assessment involving objective and measurable indicators of disadvantage, feasible operational boundaries and viability in terms of size and economic base. In that context, the existing Finglas partnership is being extended to include Cabra. It is not proposed to extend the boundaries of the Ballymun partnership.
