The principal of the primary school referred to by the Deputy wrote to me on 21 December 1993 regarding placement of pupils in a particular second-level school in the area. Her letter was subsequently acknowledged by my Department. A further letter will be sent to the principal when the question of the selection procedures for the enrolment of pupils adopted by the second-level school in question has been fully examined in the context of Circular Letter M51.93.
