Ceist:86 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health the sum of money being granted to each health board from the sum of £100 million provided in the budget, 1994 to relieve cash flow problems.
Vol. 439 No. 4
86 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health the sum of money being granted to each health board from the sum of £100 million provided in the budget, 1994 to relieve cash flow problems.
152 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health the amount of health grant owed by his Department to each health board as of today's date.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 86 and 152 together.
The total amount owed to each health board in respect of approved expenditure to 31 December 1993 is set out in the following table, circulated in the Official Report.
With regard to the additional £100 million referred to in the Budget Statement discussions with agencies are ongoing to establish the appropriate cash injection for each agency, and I am therefore not yet in a position to indicate the precise share of the available cash for each health board. I expect that the matter will be resolved within the next month.
Balances up to Approved allocation due as at 24 February 1994
