71 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if a list of grants allocated by the County Enterprise Boards will be published by them, so that competitors of the firms in question will know that there is no unfair preference being given to one firm over another; and if so, when.
It is not my intention at present to direct County Enterprise Boards to publish a list of grant payments to applicants to County Enterprise Boards. It will be open to any individual who considers he/she satisfies the criteria for assistance to make application to his/her local County Enterprise Board due regard being had to dangers of displacement of existing firms/employment.
