Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Matt Brennan — the urgent need for finance to provide a new fire station at Enniscrone, County Sligo; (2) Deputy McManus — the need for the Ballywaltrim area of Bray to be designated a disadvantaged area under the Department of Education scheme; (3) Deputy Power — the need for medical research into the causes of specific birth deficiencies and for the provision of a national register of birth defects; (4) Deputy Deasy — when an aid package will be announced for fishermen who are in financial difficulties due to the weather conditions of the past four months and (5) Deputy Enda Kenny — the provision of a proper heating system in Coogaula national school, County Mayo.

The matters raised by Deputies Deasy, Power, McManus and Enda Kenny have been selected for discussion.
