158 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment the number of tenants, and the percentage in each local authority area, who have applied to purchase their dwelling under the tenant purchase scheme; the number of sales completed in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Information, based on returns made by local authorities, of their activity under the 1993 tenant purchase scheme is being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
