Written Answers. - County Galway School Extension.

293 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the construction of the extension to Tirellan national school, Headford Road, County Galway, in view of the fact that at present school children have to take classes in the local church due to the large numbers.

My Department has appointed a contractor to construct the major extension to the school referred to by the Deputy. One of the conditions of appointment is the provision by the contractor of an insurance guarantee bond, and when this has been received work on the project will commence.
