Ceist:303 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to provide a gym hall and additional classrooms at Our Lady of the Wayside national school, Kilternan, County Dublin.

I am glad to inform the Deputy that my Department sanctioned an extension of two classrooms at this school in 1993. Architectural planning for the extension is underway and the project will proceed to the construction phase when the necessary planning is completed. When the extra classrooms are provided the general purposes room already in existence at the school and currently used as a classroom can revert to general purposes use.
