65 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the proposals, if any, he has to amend the regulations relating to the agricultural installation aid premium with particular reference to raising the labour unit limit of 1.5; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
My Department is at present examining all aspects of the installation aid scheme, including the man work unit upper limit of 1.5, with a view to ensuring a more effective availability of the measure. As the existing limits have been agreed with the European Union I am seeking their consent to changes which I hope will be approved shortly.
