Ceist:168 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a sheep subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Laois.

Under the conditions of the ewe premium scheme if applicants moved their sheep to a location other than that specified on their application forms they were required to notify the Department in writing and in advance of any such movement. As the person in question did not fulfil this requirement he was not entitled to payment of any ewe premium for 1993.
