Ceist:198 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the amount of finance allocated in the Estimates for the provision of a school replacement/extension at Keenagh, Crossmolina, County Mayo.

The nature of future developments for this school is currently under consideration in the Department and I am pleased to say that a project for this purpose has been included in the Primary Capital Programme for 1994.
Approved projects are included in the capital programme having regard to the overall level of commitments and priorities and availability of resources. The amount of expenditure to be incurred on a project in any year will depend on the progress of the programme as a whole, within the approved allocation.
