Ceist:

57 Mr. L. Burke asked the Minister for Health if there has been any recent reduction in the Government's capital programme with particular reference to any recent developments which might have affected the hospital building programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There has been no reduction in the 1994 health capital allocation approved by the Government. My Department's capital programme, including the hospital building component, will be formulated and implemented during the year on the basis of that allocation.
