Ceist:204 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be awarded a higher education grant; and, if so, when.
Written Answers. - Higher Education Grant.
Wexford County Council is the body entrusted with the administration of the higher education grants scheme in this case. The case in question has been referred to my Department by that council for a decision regarding the applicant's eligibility for grant-aid for a course leading to a post-graduate qualification. My Department is at present considering the issues involved in this case which are complex and hopes to convey a decision shortly. I shall keep the Deputy informed.
