27 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application for grant-aid from the authorities of the Loreto College, Milford, County Donegal, or if the authorities have approached her or her Department about repairs and renovations which are necessary to bring the College up to a higher standard; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
An application for grant aid towards repairs and renovations at Loreto College, Milford, County Donegal has been received and examined in my Department.
Due to the extent of the work and considerable costs involved this work is being undertaken on a phased basis. Two phases of window replacement works and the first phase of roof repair works have already been carried out. A further phase of the works has been provided for in the 1994 Capital Programme.
