74 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Defence the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 who submitted his application form to enlist in the Defence Forces to Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, was not called for interview; and if he will have arrangements made to have the person interviewed at this stage.

I have been advised that the military authorities have no record of having received an application for enlistment from the person in question. As the closing date for the receipt of completed application forms was 28 January 1994, I regret that it would not be possible at this stage to consider an application.
