Frank Crowley

Ceist:

92 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1993 cattle headage scheme is being processed at present and any payment due will be made in the near future. He was paid an advance of his 1993 suckler cow premium on 29 November 1993. His application is being processed further at present and any balance will be paid as soon as possible.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

94 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the proposals, if any, he has to award sheep quota to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person named has been allocated a ewe premium quota of 28 premium rights from the national reserve.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

95 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he has received an application for a suckler cow quota from a person (details supplied) in County Cork; if so, when a decision will be made on the distribution of this suckler cow quota; and if this person will receive a quota.

My Department has no record of having received an application for suckler cow quota from the 1993 national reserve from the person named. In any event he does not qualify for an allocation from that reserve because he did not apply for the suckler cow premium scheme in 1993.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

96 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Galway will receive full payment of grants under the 22 months premium, ten months scheme, suckler cow scheme, balance of cattle headage and November premium for ten months.

The person named was paid an advance of £1,324.40 under the 1993 cattle headage scheme on 20 December 1993. His application is being processed further at present and any balance due will be paid shortly. His application under the 1993 suckler cow premium and 1993 special beef premium schemes lodged in June and November are also being processed and payments due under both schemes will be made as soon as possible.
