135 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Health when the report on physical handicap and sensory disability will be presented to him; when he expects to be in a position to publish the report; the timetable he has in mind regarding putting in place its recommendations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I expect to receive the report of the Review Group on Physical Disability within the next few months. I would hope to be in a position to publish the report shortly thereafter. As indicated in the programme for Competitiveness and Work and the Health Strategy, it is my intention to proceed to implement the review group's recommendations in the coming four years.
