Vol. 442 No. 5

Written Answers. - Census of Population.

Michael Finucane

Ceist:

80 Mr. Finucane asked the Taoiseach the number of townlands in County Limerick which showed a population presence in the 1926 census but which had no population presence in the 1991 census; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Out of a total of 2,069 townlands in County Limerick 65, representing 3.1 per cent of the total, were populated according to the 1926 Census of Population and unpopulated according to the most recent census carried out in April 1991.
