I announced in the budget that I would be making provision in the Finance Bill, 1994, for the use of marked gas oil, i.e. oil marked with a green dye, in mobile cranes and in mobile well-drilling equipment. I am glad to be able to say that section 84 (6) of the Bill, as passed by Dáil Éireann, makes provision for this relief, which also extends to mobile concrete pumps and conveyor belts.
