Ceist:78 Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for the Environment if he has granted approval for the construction of the Carrickmines drainage scheme to Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

I understand that tenders for the site investigation contract which will enable the completion of planning on the Carrickmines foul sewer scheme are being examined at present by Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council.
Approval to go to construction will not arise until the planning and tendering process have been completed.
