87 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Meath will receive payment of her beef premium and suckler cow grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The person named applied for premium on six cows under the 1993 suckler cow scheme. She also applied on four animals and on 13 animals under the June 1993 ten and 22 month special beef premium schemes. She did not lodge an area aid application in 1993. Therefore payment under both schemes was held pending a decision from the EU which would allow payment on up to 15 livestock units without an area aid application. This concession has been granted and any payments due to her will be made as soon as possible.
88 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a suckler cow premium.
My Department has no record of an application from the person named under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme.
89 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has not received payment of a suckler cow grant; and when this will issue.
The person named applied for premium on 40 cows under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme. However, he has only established a suckler cow premium quota of ten based on the number of cows on which he was paid premium under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme. An advance payment on ten cows issued to him on 5 December 1993 and the balance on 26 May 1994. My Department has no record of an application from him for extra quota rights from either the special reserve for small scale milk producers or the national reserve.
90 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when persons (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid their 1993 suckler grant.
The registered owner of the herd number quoted has been paid the full amount due to him under the 1993 suckler cow premium scheme on 28 June 1994.
