59 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the measures, if any, he intends to put in place to eliminate unfair competition in many areas for smaller hotels and guest houses as promised recently to a delegation from the Irish Hotels Federation. [671/94]
The views of the Irish Hotels Federation with regard to unapproved accommodation are being examined in detail within my Department. The results of this examination — together with the findings of the consultancy review of Bord Fáilte — should provide a good basis for me to take whatever policy decisions are appropriate in this area.
