Rathmullen Pier is in the charge of Donegal County Council which is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the structure. As all available funding for improvement works at fishery harbours in 1994 has been fully committed the Department is now in a position to provide assistance for Rathmullen Pier this year. The proposal is being assessed, along with other proposals for fishery harbour developments, in the context of funding available under the Departments Fishery Harbours Development Plan for 1995 and forward years.
