243 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education if she will expedite the final preparation of contract documents in respect of an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Mayo; and when permission will be given for this extension to go to tender. [1460/94]
The preparation of the tender documents in respect of an extension to the school referred to by the Deputy is nearing completion and tenders will be sought in the very near future.
244 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education if she will give sanction to a school (details supplied) in County Mayo for the erection of classroom and indoor toilets in view of the sanitary conditions at the school and the increased numbers of children attending the school. [1461/94]
The position is that my Department has recently consulted the chairperson of the board of management of this school in regard to various proposals for the future development of this school. These proposals are being considered at present by my Department and a decision will be conveyed to the school in the very near future.
