141 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance the future plans, if any, of the Revenue Commissioners or the Office of Public Works in regard to the former customs post at Carrickarnon, Dundalk, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1582/94]

This property is surplus to the needs of the Revenue Commissioners. Following consultations between the Commissioners of Public Works and the Department of Justice, it is intended to convert the property for use as a Garda station, to replace the existing station at Dromad.
