117 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the plans, if any, there are to introduce regular flights between Carrickfin Regional Airport, County Donegal and Dublin Airport in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1692/94]
Tenders for the operation of scheduled air services between the regional airports, including Carrickfin Regional Airport, Donegal and Dublin Airport have been received by my Department. These are being examined in consultation with the European Commission as the air services programme is being introduced in accordance with the requirements of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2408/92. A decision in the matter will be made shortly.
