82 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health the length of time a person (details supplied) in County Offaly has been waiting for a hip operation; when the person is likely to be called for this operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1745/94]
I understand that the patient concerned was placed on the waiting list for hip replacement surgery on 13 September 1994. The surgery will be performed at the Adelaide Hospital, in Dublin. I am informed that the hospital is not in a position as yet to indicate when the patient will be called for surgery.
