116 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment his views on whether, in view of the importance attached to the role of a liquidator, examiner or receiver, specific qualifications for such appointments should be required and accordingly should be considered in the context of company law; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The position remains as I indicated to the Deputy in reply to his questions on 1 December 1993 (Volume 436, No. 5, column 1150-1151), and 8 February 1994 (Volume 438, No. 4, column 890). It is always open to the Deputy to make representations to me should he wish to make any particular points for consideration.
