Ceist:

179 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health whether the ballot among directors of community care has resulted in a settlement of the ongoing industrial dispute affecting health boards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2517/94]

I am pleased that the result of the ballot of public health doctors was in favour of acceptance of the negotiated settlement terms. The doctors who took the industrial action resumed duty over three weeks ago.
