159 Mrs. Doyle asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the litigation, if any, that is pending or in train involving his Department, its officers, or Ministers; the cases involved; the amount that has been paid in legal fees by his Department, its officers or Ministers for each of the last five years; and to whom such fees were paid. The information sought is not readily available in the format requested by the Deputy and its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of time and work.
Information on legal settlements and, if appropriate, fees paid by my Department in the last five years may be obtained from the Annual Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General and Appropriation Accounts for the years in question.
