69 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance if he will have arrangements made with the Office of Public Works to have the overgrown grass on the Royal Canal bank between Binns Bridge and Cross Guns Bridge in Dublin 7 cut as requested by the local residents' association. [1064/95]
The grass on the north and south banks of the Royal Canal between Binn's Bridge and Cross Guns Bridge is cut on a regular basis during the growing season. I understand that, at present, the grass on both sides of the hard surfaced pedestrian walkway is in a satisfactory condition, and that it is not necessary to cut it at present.
