94 Mr. Kirk asked the Minister for Education the number and names of primary schools in County Louth which do not have remedial teacher cover; and if these schools will be catered for under the remedial teacher scheme in 1995. [1724/95]
There are 70 ordinary primary schools in County Louth and 58 currently have the services of a remedial teacher. The 12 primary schools that do not have the services of a remedial teacher are set out in the following list.
I am keeping the question of further remedial teacher allocations under review and the needs of all schools, including the schools in County Louth, will be considered in the context of any allocation undertaken in 1995.
