110 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the issue of approval for the proposed group water supply scheme in the Counquilla, Ballahantourigh and Ranaleen areas in Scartaglin, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2028/95]

Having regard to the high level of demands on the group schemes programme, it has not been possible to approve this scheme up to now. The proposal will however be re-examined in the light of the 1995 provision for group schemes.
