Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to widespread complaints of residents in the vicinity of Dalymount Park, Dublin 7, in relation to problems arising for them before, during and after rock concerts; the controls, if any, that exist under his Department in relation to noise and anti-social behaviour including excessive drinking before and after such concerts in public places; if she will bring forward new regulations controlling rock concerts including a requirement for consultation with local residents in advance; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
