Vol. 449 No. 7

Written Answers. - Departmental Operation Programmes.

Martin Cullen

Ceist:

55 Mr. Cullen asked the Minister for Finance the funding he expects to be available in 1995 under each of the departmental operational programmes; the source of such funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4386/95]

Each of the operational programmes under the Community Support Framework for Ireland includes a financial plan which sets out the commitments by the EU from the Structural Funds in respect of the years 1994 to 1999. These commitments are matched by spending from national resources — from the Exchequer, other public bodies and the private sector. The commitments of EU aid in respect of 1995, together with cofinancing expenditure from public and private sources are set out in the tabular statement which I am making available.

These commitments are in line with the amounts included in the Community Support Framework 1994-99 which was agreed with the European Commission in July 1994.
